I absolutely loved the process from start to finish. Right from the off Jerome got us to break through the procrastination barrier and opened the mind to free flowing ideas. I thought the breakout rooms were great for getting and giving instant feedback and for ideas to be shared.

After the writing session I showed the draft to my sister-in-law.  She cried as she thought to herself that her father would never have done something like this for her, and had he done it, it would have been something she would treasure forever.

I would never have thought of doing something like this myself. It forced me to sit down and think about my daughter and what would make her happy, not just immediately but long into the future.  This is something she can show her own daughter. I love the whole concept and think it’s a great idea.

Overall, I found the SuperKid Stories workshop excellent and really enjoyed the process. It was well structured, with the right techniques to help someone as uncreative as I am to write a story book for my son, Jack.

The technical session on how to use Snapfish was also very helpful, and Elaine’s design tweaks were great.

The book was delivered a week ago and looks brilliant – really top quality. Both Jack and Emma have been insisting on it being their bedtime story every night since it arrived!

I found the feedback sessions in the workshop very useful. I wasn’t confident about my story but getting feedback from my buddy and Jerome boosted my confidence that the story worked. I wouldn’t have continued on my own.

I left the workshop feeling very positive, knowing I had already got a lot down and it just needed tweaking. The workshop was so much fun. I learned something new, I was productive and created a wonderful gift. It really perked me up after a few long days.

When the day for the workshop arrived, I found myself quite reluctant to attend. I had been having some issues with anxiety and low mood and was in the habit of cancelling plans. However, I had booked with a family member, so I didn’t want to let them down. I was so glad I did the workshop in the end.

My mood lifted almost from the start and I managed to write a short children’s story. I’m really quite proud of the end product. The whole thing was a lot of fun and I felt I got a lot of value from it. Jerome is clearly an experienced writer and was able to guide us through the process step by step, which made it feel quite easy. He was also very entertaining and funny.

Well worth the effort over the other generic ‘insert child’s name here’ platforms.

I didn’t really know what to expect coming to the workshop and was a bit trepidatious. I gathered some photos of a day out and was thinking I’d just do “A day at the….” story but through the exercises and guidance from Jerome, I quickly found a groove and impressed myself with the direction I took and how I managed to create a fun story about our day out. I was proud of myself but even more grateful to Jerome and the team who helped me create this gorgeous keepsake for my children. Looking forward to the next time!

I’m so happy I did the workshop and very excited to have written my first book! The workshop gave me the confidence and time to focus on writing a book, which I would never have done. I’m very happy and feeling very proud and amazed, to be honest.
